Recently in one of the many online classes I’m taking, a verbal confrontation occurred between a few people in the class over current events.  I pay attention to the energy people put out through their bodies, words, attitudes, and what isn’t said but felt. In this case I felt one of the people spoke calmly, discussed her personal experience with the event/issue while another went into victim mode and raged back calling names and shut out all possibility of hearing any other point of view except her own.

This wasn’t the first time I had encountered such strong negative energy from this individual in class when things didn’t go her way. Understanding something about her I am aware there is probably an ancestral lineage and personal life full of trauma and pain. Trauma and pain are one way to more easily enter victim mode. I left the class feeling heavy and asking a lot of questions.

A couple hours later I was in my usual weekly class for my Intuitive Healer Training Program & Certification (IHTP). I felt this class would help me shift out of the heavy energy and I was correct.

It was interesting that during the opening meditation for the IHTP class, I kept getting the word victim where it related to the earlier conversation and one of the participants. Then I heard the words ancestral lineage. I knew then I had to explore this idea of playing the victim (consciously or unconsciously) and using our ancestral lineage as the reason we play the victim.

Whether we want to admit it or not, we have all played the victim role/archetype from time to time. It is part of being human. Sometimes this energy is ingrained in us that we don’t even know we are doing it. Other times we use this energy to manipulate or get what we want.  Being the center of attention and getting one’s way can be a powerful addiction for some people. Then there are times when we are doing our inner work and healing and go into this energy but step out of it because we are consciously creating our reality.
 

I admit that during the meditation in IHTP, questions were swirling around this idea of victim energy and ancestral lineage. Plus, how do we play in that energy in our own lives.  I sat with this for several hours before writing this article. There are many questions you can ask around this topic and many rabbit holes you can go down within your personal history and ancestral lineage history to find answers. Here are a few questions to help you.

  1. When and where in my life have I played in victim energy? What was happening to create this response?
  2. Where did that energy come from? My personal history or ancestral history?
  3. Why was I playing in that energy?
  4. When I react or respond to someone while I’m in victim energy – am I explosive, angry, hurtful, tune others out, shut down, leave my body, call names, manipulate or try to control, etc.?
  5. Am I addicted to this energy? Does it create hormones in my body that give me a high?
  6. Was I consciously playing in that energy or at the time was I unaware I was?
  7. Now that I have identified the when, where and why I played in that along with where it came from, what inner work and healing do I need to do to stop playing in that energy?
  8. What changes do I need to make in how I interact with people to shift or stop that victim energy?
  9. What will it take to release this energy from my body and soul and more consciously create my reality?

If you have followed me at all the last four years, particularly the last two, you know how difficult life has been on the other side of the ocean with my husband’s declining health. We went through almost two years of questions as to why things were declining. Numerous tests, procedures, and doctor appointments before things got bad and the hospitalizations began.

Dealing with the medical system in another country, one in which citizens are taught to obey their authority figures without question, was extremely difficult for me. As an American who is constantly questioning everything and doing my inner work, I struggled with this limited mindset and I went into victim mode – then took myself out – then went back in – it was almost like riding a surf wave over and over for two years.

How did I play victim? In many ways it was internal – blaming my husband in my head (and sometimes out loud) for not asking questions or being angry with myself for not pushing more or staying with him in the first place (he was diagnosed with 2 cancers right after we met). Oh woe is me I live this life with all this stress and grief. And there was a LOT of grief and many other emotions no one ever taught me about or how to deal with in these circumstances. So I became a victim to all my emotions too.

Then there was the external victim where I lashed out at his friends who of course were in the mindset that you just obey the doctors and keep your mouth closed. None of them understood how difficult and stressful and emotional it was for me to be in a foreign country dealing with hospitals and doctors and fighting for him and keeping all his family and friends updated every time he went in. And I had zero support from them even from the start. So I was going through all this alone. That made me angry and I became the victim. Most of my friends in the U.S. or on social media knew very little about what was happening most of the time.

In and out of that I went and seemed to be better when I was at home and not overseas. Then last July when things got really bad again I said ENOUGH! I was done playing in all this energy – victim, supporter, healer, all of it.

When I chose that – everything changed. 90% of the attachment I felt to my husband and his health dropped away. My body began to relax. My energy shifted. I finally realized this was not in any way in my control and it was all his choice to live or die, stay sick, heal, listen to the docs or not, take care of himself the way the docs said to or not. It didn’t matter what I said or did – it was and is all his choice. Control is a separate issue I’ll probably tackle in another article. 

Did my victim energy come from my ancestors? Looking at my family tree I can see at least one instance where an ancestor probably played in this energy that contributed to this specific instance in which I have been dealing.

Was her victim energy or trauma passed down to me because she dealt with a lot of trauma before she likely went into victim energy? Possibly. Do I blame her? NO. I explore her story and the family’s story. I channel her and others in my writing to ask questions and ask for clarification about what took place. I understand more what happened and I heal these things in myself – which then heals my ancestors. It is not fun to look at these dark shadow sides of myself but it is something I’m willing to do so these patterns and energies do not continue in the future.

 

Using the questions above, we can look at where we have played the victim.

A few tips when we explore this energy.

  1. Do not judge it. We all go into victim mode during our lives – sometimes consciously and sometimes not. However, each of us is on our own journey and each time we acknowledge we play in this energy, we have an opportunity to do deeper work and heal it.
  2. Try to get out of the energy as soon as you realize you are playing in it. This is important so we do not continue to create more of the victim energy and create more conflict and yuck in our lives. Sometimes that conflict leads to the end of relationships we may have held dear.
  3. Be gentle with yourself. As we do our deeper work and heal the dark or shadow parts of ourselves, we must be gentle. No one is perfect and we all have inner work to do.
  4. Do not lay blame. Sometimes the easiest thing to do is blame someone else for our actions or responses. Blaming an ancestor who may have created the energy that was passed down – that we play victim in – is not a constructive way to heal the past and present. If you do lay blame, try to acknowledge you did this and shift the energy. Apologize to your ancestors for blaming and ask them how you can both/all heal.

Sometimes our ancestors are not the ones who perpetuated the victim energy that we play in. Sometimes we learn this from our immediate family or from society growing up. To remain part of a tribe and fit in, we will often imitate those around us, even when we know it is not in our highest good to do so. Asking ourselves to get real about why we are playing the victim is the first step to shifting that energy.

As our world continues to change in 2020 and this decade, taking a truthful look at our energy, our shadow side, our personal and ancestral lineage issues is extremely important so we may heal and shift out of the old energies. Creating a planet on which people can live in harmony, without separation, anger, and hate is what we are headed toward. It takes all of us to wake up and do our part to make this transition easier for everyone. Those who choose to continue playing in these old energies and being the victim and further causing division and anger will not have it easy as we transition.

2020 is a year of intense change on the planet. It is what some call The Great Awakening as millions around the world wake up to the games that have been played for centuries. The lies told by the media and government to keep us divided, poor, unable to think for ourselves, to not care for our bodies & souls as we should, and wreak havoc and create trauma for everyone. The lies and manipulation and control of religion to make sure we follow whatever path has been laid out so those in power remain in power and the rest of us feel we have zero choices and are wrong or shamed for any choice we make outside the strict box.

As we sit here in June 2020, just one day after (I hope) all the worldwide riots and protests have stopped, it is time to go within and ask ourselves the hard questions.

 

Am I blindly following my ancestral beliefs and patterns?

We are a combination of our personal experiences in this life plus the experiences and traumas of our ancestors and the collective on earth. 

When we are born, we come into these bodies with our own knowing and beliefs. To fit in with our tribe we marinate in the soup of what our parents believe, how they behave, how our siblings, extended family, and society believe and behave. We learn to adapt to become part of the tribe for survival. Usually it isn’t until much later in life that we stop to explore WHY we believe all we believe and choose to behave as we do. At this point we realize we have a choice in how to create our lives and can let go of our family’s, society’s and the collective’s negative or destructive beliefs.

Each of those who came before us make many choices to survive, based on what they learned from their families, society, religion, and education. Over centuries of programming people into believing certain things – most people don’t even question their beliefs or behavior anymore. Those who are awake – do question.

Often those who are awake are seen as “crazy” or “stupid” or in need of mental health services because the questions we ask, the possibilities and magic of the universe of which we are aware, and the layers of lies we see, according to most people on the planet – couldn’t possibly be true. Therefore there is something really wrong with those of us who are awake and questioning. I mean, if we go against what the media, family, religion, education, government has told us over and over – we can’t possibly be right….can we?

Those who step outside of the box and think for themselves, question everything are often the loners in the family who have said ENOUGH! Enough of the negative patterns. Enough of the old beliefs that only hold me back. Enough of the lack mentality. Enough of not being allowed to be our full and honest selves. Enough of not being able to speak our truths. Enough of ignoring our intuition and invisible guides that surround us always. Enough of keeping people in our lives who do not honor us but only seek to shame, blame, and put us down.

Our ancestors may have not been allowed to do their inner work due to the times in which they lived, but we have a choice now. Moving forward, this will be one way to create our reality on this planet as the earth gets a consciousness upgrade.

 

So what do we do to stop the patterns?

It starts by acknowledging you are a POWERFUL INTUITIVE BEING. Go within and tune into your knowing. Start doing your healing and clearing work to more easily release the old patterns. Start speaking your truth and be true to yourself even if it means you lose family and friends. A new tribe will show up for you. Not all who cross our paths are meant to be in our lives forever. Some are there only for a season to be our greatest teachers to help us learn our harder lessons and become who we are here to be.

Also start ASKING QUESTIONS and RESEARCHING. Ask questions when your intuition tells you something is not quite right. Listen to your body and knowing. Then dig. Explore all those resources outside mainstream media or what social media has programmed you to believe are reliable sources (based on their agenda). Stop looking for the “experts” to only be those with an advanced degree. There are many people on the planet tuning into the universe who have information to share. Many who are in the know but can’t reveal their sources.

They say truth is stranger than fiction. Isn’t that the time we are living in? As more comes to light the rest of 2020, the truth will be stranger and more horrifying than fiction. I have wondered how many of my family and friends will need mental health services when the truth comes out. So many have chosen to label me as in need of services because I’ve tried to wake them up and keep honoring my knowing and do my inner work. But the reality is – I’m more equipped to handle the truth at this point and I do worry about the others who are not.

Do your inner work and honor your truth. I started my conscious spiritual journey 21 December 2012 when many on the planet woke up. Since then I’ve spent thousands of hours a year working on my inner stuff and healing the abuse and trauma in my lineage, with various teachers. I’ve also committed to a meditation practice which has increased tremendously this year. As hard as some of the things that have come up have been, I’m grateful I walked through the fire and was willing to look at the dark parts of myself and my lineage. Had I not – I think I would have been a mess through all the changes this year.

One thing everyone can do is continue planting seeds for those who are not awake. Tell your story and how you chose to wake up and question. How you chose to look at your family patterns and beliefs and let things go. Others will wake up this year as the truth comes out. Those of us who have been doing our work and shining our lights will be needed even more.  It will be a good idea to continue your self-care and spiritual practices and see where you can improve so you remain grounded and sourced as these changes occur.

Finally, we can thank our ancestors and family for their burdens and blessings, beliefs, life, and impact on our lives today. Without them we wouldn’t be here for an exciting time on the planet. One many of us have lived lifetimes for, always hoping peace and abundance would come. It will, be patient and continue doing your work. Shed the old ancestral beliefs and patterns.

For the last decade I’ve studied the deeper layers of genealogy and family history. Explored the darker sides of family and ancestors. Looked at the grief, loss, war, fear they lived with, safety issues that existed, survival instincts, PTSD, inherited trauma and other related topics.

Exploring those topics has helped me do my own healing and today I’d like to talk about our current lives and forced isolation alongside our ancestors’ lives where the issues of fear and safety arise. I will provide just a little information around this topic with resources for you to explore.

If you look back in your genealogy, you will find many instances where your ancestors were living in fear and were unsure of their personal safety perhaps due to war or famine, political conflicts, immigration, or natural disasters. Those situations may have been shorter term and affected the ancestors for a period of time. They may have learned to live with the new normal that came after. Some may have shoved their emotions and feelings about it all deep inside to carry the rest of their lives while others were able to heal.

In cases where abuse and rape occurred, those fear and safety issues may have lingered the rest of the ancestor’s life. It has only been in more recent times that we are allowed to talk about these things and start to heal.

In either case, we, the descendants of our ancestors, carry their pain, trauma, fear, and safety issues in our DNA.  It is stored in our bodies and within our energy system – the chakras. I can personally say that doing chakra energy healing can shift out a lot of things we carry that aren’t even ours and make a huge difference in how we live. I’ll save that for another article. It will shock you how much we carry that messes us up that isn’t even ours.

Differences between fear & safety then versus now

I think it’s important to acknowledge the farther back we go in our family history, the less 24/7/365 media programming/brainwashing was available. Today we have news stations and social media channels blasting fear and panic over toilet paper, a virus, lockdowns, vaccines, and food shortages and killer hornets, and every other disease and way to die has been cured because CDC says covid is the only way people are dying now (or is it?) all…day…long.

And the narrative keeps changing – have you noticed? We are slowly being programmed to be in fear and rely more on the government and start to fear things outside our homes. There is a quote that goes something like, I never thought I’d see people so afraid to die that they stopped living.

Have you noticed how much of the world has stopped living?

Would you have been so afraid of the virus if the media had not told you to be afraid? Especially when studies are coming out now that show us it is less deadly than the flu? That the majority of people dying are in nursing homes (which already had care issues?)

Have you noticed the media said there will be no toilet paper so everyone ran out to buy it? We’ll be locked in our homes for decades – so there was a run on food? We can’t open the country safely unless we have a vaccine (even though Fauci said in the Senate Hearing yesterday the vaccine may not work or create more issues for those with prior health issues) – even though there are therapeutics that work (see latest France and Italy studies and what’s coming out in America outside of mainstream media.)

Why were we never told to be afraid when H1N1 came out in 2009? How many of us were so sick with that flu and the country stayed open? No shortage on toilet paper or food… makes you question right?  I remember being sicker than I’d ever been with three kids ages 8 and 4 (twins) to take care of and the government didn’t shut down the world.

Now look at your ancestors…

Less media interference may have created fewer issues with fear and safety. When you examine the propaganda/news created for WWII to get families to buy into the war effort THEN look at the propaganda/news created for WWI (a generation prior) and THEN look at propaganda/news for the generation before that, what do you notice?  

  1. What kind of media did our ancestors have access to?
  2. Our parents? I’m 47 and my parents had access to TV, radio, magazines, and newspapers.
  3. My grandparents? TV (after WWII), radio, magazines, and newspapers.
  4. My great grandparents? Radio, magazines, newspapers. If they could read.
  5. My great great grandparents? Magazines, Newspapers, pamphlets (at least in the U.S. – in Europe I’m not sure as they were peasants and likely couldn’t read). Word of mouth news which as we know often is distored.

Start Asking questions

  1. What events did my ancestors go through that created fear?
  2. What events did my ancestors go through that created safety issues?
  3. How did my ancestors handle these events? (Did they ignore their emotions and push it down? Did they talk about it? Use faith/religion to see them through? Talk it out with a therapist or other healer?)
  4. How much have I bought into the fear propagated by the media and social media which is showing one side of the story?
  5. How am I handling this fear and concern over safety? Or am I content letting the governors take away my rights and force me to stay home where my finances are suffering, my health is suffering (mental and physical), my business may be suffering or I lose my job, my kids are suffering on many levels.
  6. What emotions and thoughts keep coming up for me throughout this lockdown? WHOSE thoughts and emotions are they? Mine or my ancestors? Mine or my friends?
  7. What fear or safety based issues keep coming up for me? Journal on this.
  8. What can I do to let go and release these thoughts and emotions that are not mine? Therapy, call a suicide prevention line, energy healing, chakra healing, journaling, exercise, etc.
These are only a few questions and areas to explore in your life and that of your ancestors’ lives. We are at a pivotal moment in history where we need to be exploring these issues and questions. To heal and release all those things that don’t serve us, but certainly mess up our lives. To ask more questions about the narrative being pushed on us all day long. To start LIVING again and making choices that align with our true heart and soul. Possibly the most important thing to start doing: Stop blaming everyone else for the choices you are making. The last two months of lockdown have served so many purposes for our planet and humanity. It has not been easy to accept on many levels. as the comforts and “normal” we lived with was taken away in a matter of minutes. The Mainstream media’s agenda is to push fear at us 24/7 and keep changing the narrative – which most people have been programmed to accept as TRUTH – to keep us under control. When people are afraid they are easier to control. The constant narrative change also means you don’t know who to believe or what is actually real and true.

Isn’t it time you start asking yourself and checking in with your intuition about what’s true for you?

Just because the media or your friends tell you something is true doesn’t make it true for you. Only you know what is true for you – so why aren’t more people checking in with themselves to ask? Because we aren’t taught how. We are also told to just follow the herd.

While I always try to be positive and share things that make people question this reality, many people are now going into the shame, blame, and verbal abuse energy. As an empath this is hard for me to live with. It is harder to live with when people you thought were your friends suddenly start blaming you for THEIR choices. Blaming or shaming you for having a different perspective or knowing about the world that they can’t access.

Somehow no matter what I post, my “friends” seem to think I’m responsible for the choices they made or how they have to live right now. So they blame, shame, post links to refute anything I share. As I shared in my article Did You Forget You Have a Choice in This Life?, I share things to inspire people or help them question this reality. It makes no difference to me what they choose. I’m not living their life. I don’t have to learn their lessons. I will also not take on their shame or blame or anything else they want to fling at me. Not mine. I am not responsible to fix it for you.

As many of us are moving more into this expansive space and setting firmer boundaries, it can start to be a lonely place. A frustrating place. A sad place. Quite honestly there are days it is hard to live with it all. However, when we step back and breathe, find a trusted friend or spiritual healer to talk to, we can more quickly move back into our energy and let the rest go. I do feel it is vital that we grieve, scream, laugh, cry, whatever our bodies need to do to release this energy as we keep transitioning. When it gets stuck it hurts and can create disease.

Over the last few weeks I’ve unfriended/unfollowed more than 300 people on various social media accounts. I’ve started blocking people who seem to live for trolling other people’s posts and start verbally abusing and shaming them. Even people I thought were my friends. That I’ve met in real life. Maybe that energy is fun for them. It doesn’t work for me. Thank you to all those people for showing me who you really are. Now I can continue on my path with less toxicity in my life.

 

When did this become an acceptable and ok way to be with each other? Blame. Shame. Verbal Abuse.

 

I think many things are factoring into this way of being for probably 90% of the planet.

  • Most people are not yet awake and seeing the truth of what’s really going on. There is a lot of corruption going on behind the scenes while we are safely locked at home that is coming out. Mainstream media is not showing you this because they have to follow the narrative but the news is about to break all over the world. It is going to shock you. If you want to know – start reading all the news sites that social media said were “unsafe. false.” Start questioning WHY you were pushed to believe this. Even Snopes is run by MSM to keep you to an agenda. Believe what you read or don’t. Ask questions. Come to your own conclusions and research more if you feel it’s necessary.
  • There is also a great awakening and shift in consciousness happening on the planet. We are all upgrading at our own pace. All on our own journeys. Some are much farther along and are aware of things the rest of the world isn’t and can’t be. You can only receive or hear what you are able to in that moment based on where you are in your transformation and life. The rest you will block or not see even if it is right in front of you. Your vibration has not reached a point you can see or hear it and process it.
  • Most people are grieving their lost lives/normal/way of being. Whatever that was for them. Some are grieving the deaths of loved ones. Grief makes us irrational and often unable to function in a higher vibration way than we normally might. Knowing this can help in how we react or respond during times of grief. In America and much of the world, we don’t talk about grief. We aren’t taught how to properly handle it or the complex emotions and thoughts that come with it. We ignore it and say it will go away after a few days. You know what – it doesn’t. You know what else? It’s OK to grieve what you have lost. At some point you will hopefully come out the other side and start creating the life you really want in this new reality.
  • Mainstream media, religion, education, government, has programmed us to be angry. Divide along certain lines. To blame anyone but ourselves for our choices. To stop taking responsibility for our choices and lives. To stop questioning anything and just follow the herd. Be a sheep. Is that really how you choose to live?

 

You’re allowed to set new boundaries & rules for your life

One of the spiritual teachers I’ve followed for years said in a class recently that her circle of friends is very tiny. Only certain people get access to who she really is. And if you cross her boundaries, which she set to live her life in a high vibrational, magical, anything is possible way – you’re out. That’s it.

I did some journaling around this and wrote a set of rules for who I will allow in my inner circle. You know what, it felt really good to set new boundaries about who gets to be in my space. It also opens up a new way for me to BE in the world and with the rest of humanity.

While we move through this transition, I feel it is important to examine our boundaries. Priorities. Rules by which we live. Whatever you want to call that. What is working? What no longer works? Who can you say goodbye to in your life to remove toxicity? Who should you allow in to promote growth and expansion of all that’s possible? These are choices only you can make. You have a choice to not stay in blame, shame, and verbal abuse.

 

What are you going to choose as your life now?

I invite you to journal on some of the topics in this article. What resonates for you? Where have you been afraid to remove people or energies from your life that drag you down and don’t allow you to create or expand?

It is not always and easy thing to let people and energies go. It takes inner strength, trust in our intuition and awareness, and powerful boundaries for ourselves. We are the only ones who can create our lives. We are the only opinion or voice who really matters in how we choose to live.

The current world circumstances have created many things for its citizens. Anxiety, fear, feelings of lack, financial difficulties, job loss or delay, mental health issues, and many other things on the “negative” side of the balance sheet.
On the “positive” side of the balance sheet, some people have chosen to take this time out from our old lives to create, explore, be curious about their lives, family patterns, genealogy, military history, and really looking at what they would like their life to look like when restrictions are released and we step into this new reality.

what are facilitation sessions?

Facilitation sessions are an opportunity to work with me privately on any topic you need to discuss. This is not therapy. This is a combination of intuitive healing, energy healing, connecting with your higher self, Source/God/Creator/Spirit, and any other helpers who are there for your highest good. Throughout sessions I ask people a lot of questions they journal on later or meditation on. Sometimes there is “homework” for them to explore an aspect of what we talked about.

Clients have discussed topics such as: adoption, DNA, inherited trauma, creating a new business, relationships, meditation, healing modalities, choosing for themselves, removing blocks, writing, research, and more. The possibilities are endless.

As we navigate this worldwide purging, cleansing, and transformation on the planet, people are reacting in many different ways. Have you noticed this? It is almost as if people have forgotten we are allowed to be different. We are allowed to have different beliefs. This country was founded on people having different beliefs and we were given the rights to this. Yet, the longer the worldwide lockdown goes, the more division we see. The more anger, verbal abuse, and hate we see popping up online -from people who IN REAL LIFE would never say those things to us.

My role here is to invite you to question your beliefs and look at where you function from. Agree with what I pose here or don’t. Like the questions or don’t. Choose to shift into a different energy or don’t.  Keep me as a contact/family member/friend or don’t. It doesn’t matter to me. It’s all a choice.  You have a choice in how you live your life. I’m here to present questions and options. You do what you want. I’m going to create my life in a way that is true for my heart and soul whether you agree with how I do it or not.

It’s all a choice.

 

people have forgotten they have a choice

  • Have you noticed how people we once thought of as family who loved us react in abusive, hateful ways to things we say or post online because our beliefs and choices do not align with theirs?
  • Have you noticed how people we once considered intelligent critical thinkers follow the herd and fear based information and go after anyone who posts something that contradicts their beliefs?
  • Have you noticed people who are FB friends or contacts on other platforms who never interact with you are suddenly trolling your posts to just verbally puke on you because you don’t align with their beliefs? Do they get all excited over trolling posts? That’s a destructive energy they are playing in. Do you like that energy?
  • Have you noticed how people we thought were one thing (because we labeled them as such) are really so much more?
  • Have you noticed you are not alone in your beliefs – that there are people out there who get you and you can be a support to each other?
  • Is there anything else you have noticed I didn’t mention?
  • Have you been surprised at who has come out to attack you because you believe something different? Or that you share something alternative to mainstream media/herd mentality beliefs and brainwashing?
  • Have you noticed there is a serious divide about those who believe the herd mentality that EVERYONE should stay home because of a virus that is not as deadly as the flu BUT because the media told you it will kill you – you believe it? Have you noticed no one ever cared about the numbers of people who die on a daily basis NO MATTER WHAT is happening on the planet but are VERY upset about the virus deaths? Does this mean those other deaths never mattered?

you have a choice in how you react or respond

EVERYONE has a choice in how the react or respond to things that frazzle their brain. Create cognitive dissonance. Go against their ingrained beliefs. Yet with the domination of censorship and an agenda to create fear, division, hate, and anger on all media channels both online and offline, people have allowed themselves to be conditioned (brainwashed) into believing their way/beliefs are the only ones allowed. People in general stopped questioning things they intuitively know are wrong or go against their beliefs.

What else contributes to this? Constant violence and sex glorification/abuse we see everywhere we look. People don’t even question it most of the time – they just say PRAY FOR… rather than doing anything to change things. The violence and sex continue to create fear based responses and PTSD type triggers in us. It changes our bodies, brains, nervous systems, responses and reactions to things. Sometimes we don’t even realize it has happened until we blow up or get really sick because the programming of society has been a slow constant drip for decades.

No one questions it. But it has left people in fight or flight states often and they forgot they had a choice in how they respond, react, or live their lives.

We all have a choice in how we live our lives. Who we allow to be in our space. What choices we make. What we believe to be TRUE for us. It doesn’t matter what other people think.

 

how do we change this?

Change starts with each of us individually.

  1. We need to start looking at our own beliefs and responses. Ask the hard questions about WHY do we respond or react this way? What happened to us throughout our lives that created this “monster” inside us that feels it has to lash out at anything different?
  2. Ask yourself why you feel the need to troll people’s social media so you can “feel good” about how much hate and verbal abuse you spew at them because they disagree with what you believe. Get real with it and start to change it.
  3. Look at your family history. We all inherit trauma from our ancestors going back several generations. Sometimes our reactions to things are so decontextualized we don’t even know why we react or respond in a certain way. This is good to acknowledge and start to work on to release.
  4. We need to start doing our inner work to allow the dark parts of ourselves, the fear based parts, and the wounded parts to surface. Once things go from unconscious to conscious, we can look at them, heal and release them. DARK TO LIGHT.
  5. How do we do this? Some people rely on religion and faith. Others doing energy healing or spiritual work. There are more than a hundred different modalities to help shift your beliefs and energy and release the past. There are many different options and a lot of information online and in books and classes to explore.

We are moving into a new era of life on this planet. One in which we will have greater freedoms, greater choice, more equality, and more options to create the life we truly desire. The questions for you are:

  1. What kind of life do you really want to live?
  2. What kind of energy do you want to play in?
  3. What kind of people do you want in your life – those who help keep you in fear-based and negative living or those who help raise you up and support you to create something greater?
